Welcome to Avondale, the portal between our world and one of incredible beauty and strangeness. The Bard of Avondale is happy to share his world with you.
No one knows how long Kyan Bardan has been Bard, or how old he is, but his name means ageless poet – there are many secrets in Avondale.

When you cross the bridge into this enchanted land, you will hear tales of heroic deeds and great loves, see the creations of craftsmen and women, be entertained by poetry and lore, stories of the Bard, and learn the true nature of Avondale – it acts as a portal to the fabled land of Tyr Nan’Iar (The Land of the West), long hidden from the world by the powerful magic of its Bard, the Noble Lyan Bardan.

Note: Bard in the ancient language of Avondale and Tyr nan’Iar roughly translated means Warrior Poet. The Bard of Avondale is both its defender and its chronicler. Not a King or a Prince or a Lord as we would suppose, but the one appointed to keep Avondale and its secrets safe from the human world.
